Question: I own a three gunthas of NA plot in Bamane Village which is a part of Shahapur, Thane District. My father bought this property in 1985. I want to know about the prevailing rate in this location and its future prospects. The plot is near the Mumbai-Nashik Highway and is not demarcated. There is no electricity or water supply over here.
Answer: Shahpur taluka is in Thane district but off the Mumbai city. There are a number of national and local developers who have been selling property here. Currently the values here are very low - plots in Shahapur Taluka are at Rs 225 – Rs 750 per sq. ft. These plots are within 1722 - 2485 sq. ft. Hold for more 3-5 years to see great appreciation.
