Question: I have booked a flat in 2007 with Pal Garden Sector 89 in Faridabad, Haryana. The project is being developed by Pal Group Infrastructures & Developers. I have also signed the builder-buyer agreement in the same year and paid Rs 27.5 lakhs till date. It's been 10 years and the building structure is yet to be completed. The builder has many cases against him. He gets arrested every now and then. Many people have filed liquidation case against him. What are the options open to me? How can I get my money back?
Answer: After sending a legal notice file a criminal complaint u/s 200 of the Cr. P. C. for offences u/s 420 I.P.C. and also file a consumer complaint for recovery of the amount paid along with interest and also make an application seeking injunction of the plot upon which the building was to be constructed so as to secure the repayment of your amounts along with interest.
