Question: The committee of my society has resigned in the AGM and has submitted the resignation to the registrar after completion of 3 years. Can the society undertake transfer of flats by giving a NOC and making an entry in the share certificate? Since we are under the collectors land, only member to member transfers were allowed. Is joint ownership with a non-member allowed?
Answer: Joint ownership with a non-member is not allowed, a care taker committee cannot take any such decision nor issue any such NOC except look after the day to day routine administrative work till such time the duly elected committee takes charge as per the provision of the Co-operative Act.
