Question: I have been holding a property in Chandni Chowk, Pune for the last 8 years. I would like to know if I should hold it or sell it. I am looking for a property in Mumbai. I have a budget of Rs 50 lakhs. My budget may go up if I sell the Pune property.
Answer: Currently the rate in Chandi Chowk is Rs 6000 – Rs 8000 per sq. ft., so it depends upon the location and society for to quote the flat rate as it is 8 years old. Suppose if a 1 Bed you can quote Rs 50 – 55 Lakhs and if it's a 2 Bed of 1100-1200 sq. ft. pricing can be quoted in between Rs 70 – Rs 75 Lakhs. If you want to sell the property and invest in Mumbai you can get better options in Central Mumbai.
