The opposition continued with their demand for Prime Minister Narendra Modi's response on demonetisation, but it was rejected by the government benches immediately. However, the government maintained that they are open to have a debate on the issue.
Meanwhile, outside Parliament as well, the opposition parties seem united over cornering the government on demonetisation issue. West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, who in fact, has been leading the protests, again attacked government.
