Gurmehar was brutally targeted on social media after her post opposing student body ABVP went viral. She has approached Delhi Women Commission for help, after which Delhi police also filed an FIR but as of now no arrests have been made, no action has been taken against those who openly bullied Gurmehar online and threatened her with rape.
