However, the much opposed metro car shed and zoo are still very much part of the plan. Infact, Development plan has reserved 34.41 hectares for metro car shed while 113 hectares for a zoo and botanical garden has been kept aside. This is going to result in a loss of massive green cover which involves axing of over 3000 trees.
