A tempo driver took a 7-year-old to a secluded place by luring her with sweets and raped her in Gurugram. The accused then left the minor on a street and was found lying unconscious by her mother after she returned from work.

The police constructed 25 two-man teams and combed through as many as 50 homes in the Dudahera village where the accused hails from. A 35-year-old woman was allegedly abducted from Sohna in Gurugram and raped by a group of men in a moving car on Monday. According to the police, the woman was dumped in Greater Noida after eight hours of ordeal. “The victim has claimed that she was picked up at around 8.30pm on Monday in Gurgaon. She was allegedly raped in the car while the accused were driving around,” said Suniti, superintendent of police (Noida Rural), said.
