The suspect, Imran Chhimpa, was apprehended by Rajasthan police and Mumbai police at Sujangarh in Rajasthan. He is believed to be the orchestrator of a data theft that resulted in a public domain display of user data such as e-mail addresses and Aadhar card details of approximately 1.25 billion JIO customers.
