3:19Now PlayingAs many as 400 residents of a society maintained by the Slum Rehabilitation Authority (SRA) in Mumbai’s Ghatkopar area have launched a widespread protest against Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and State Housing Minister Prakash Mehta.
The residents received a letter from the BMC asking them to vacate the premises within three days and shift to a building in Mumbai’s Mahul area. They have also complained that the Mahul area where they are being instructed to shift is one of the most polluted areas in the city and can expose them to medical hazards.
