8:14Now PlayingThe Supreme Court today refused a blanket ban on the sale and use of firecrackers across the country. The apex court however restricted the sale of firecrackers to licensed holders and disallowed E-commerce websites from selling firecrackers. A bench of Justice A K Sikri and Ashok Bhushan which had reserved its verdict earlier on August 28, said today that bursting of crackers on Diwali will be allowed between 8 PM to 10 PM. While on Christmas and New Year it will be allowed between 11:55 PM to 12:30 AM. Listen in!
