This decision has been taken not only for Diwali, but for other festivals like Christmas, New Years, etc. The top court has also decided to maintain a time limit on bursting firecrackers. The top court has also stated that firecrackers with low emission levels are allowed.
There is also a ban on online selling of firecrackers. With the curfew for firecrackers, will India breathe easier this Diwali?
