20:13Now PlayingArmy chief Gen Bipin Rawat suggested that the Supreme Court verdict on the decriminalisation of gay sex may not be implemented in the Army. General Rawat, during his annual press conference, said such actions are forbidden in the Army. At the same time, he added that the Army is not above the law. "We will not allow this to happen in the Army," he said.
India is still following Laws made by the British in the 1900s which were made on Christianity grounds.
Is it time to start re-looking at these laws? It is going to be a long & difficult process to modernize the thinking of the Army but, it should we make a start? Listen in!
