On The Last Word, The Supreme Court transferred all cases regarding a plea which is to link Aadhaar Card with your social media accounts. This was based on a plea which was filed by Facebook. The Tamil Nadu government had originally asked for Aadhaar Card to be linked to Facebook to prevent cybercrime and track anti-national activities.
Social media giants must be made accountable for the fake accounts and trolls but are Aadhaar-Social media link the best way to go forward to fight these trolls?
