4:37Now PlayingCOVID-19 outbreak in Chennai: Tamil Nadu’s Chennai city has recorded over 6000 Coronavirus cases till date. The outbreak has taken place in densely populated areas as maintaining social distancing norms are very difficult there. The city’s civic body decided to relocate the residents lining in congested areas to the community centres.
According to the government authorities, 75% of the rising infection has been reported from the containment zones mainly because citizens are not following adequate lockdown norms and they are trying their best to curb the pandemic spread in the city.
