She says, ‘We want to help. We have acted positively. We have praised the govt, wherever they have done good work. We wanted the migrant to reach their hometown safely. After accidents took place, we wrote to the U.P Govt asking for permission to run 1000 buses. U.P Govt told us that 11,000 UP govt buses will be used for this and we don't want your buses. We were asked for the list of 1000 buses with the driver details. We were again told to send the buses to Lucknow. We told them that we will keep the buses ready at Ghaziabad-Agra border. Our effort was to bring the walking migrants back to their homes. The Congress party is with the migrants who want to reach their homes’.
