6:10Now PlayingAfter being closed for almost 2 months, domestic flights in India finally resume. The domestic air operations will restart from 25th May onwards but in a phased and gradual manner. All airports & air carriers are being informed to be ready for operations. The Standard Operating Procedures for passenger movement will be issued separately. There will also be a segregated security check unit for those who were quarantined last month.
The Aviation Minister Hardeep Singh Puri said that ‘keeping the middle seat vacant was not a viable option since it would hike up the ticket price by almost 33%’.
