The locust insects are not just destroying crops but attacking people and are damaging farmlands. The Northern belt of India that is Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab, and Rajasthan are dealing with the heavy attack during the heatwave. Swarms of locusts are an unusual situation during this time. Jhansi was attacked by locusts and the fire brigade is helping by spraying chemicals. These insects move in a group and come out in the late evening from 6 PM- 8 PM. It moves along the direction of the air and highly dangerous. Farmers are facing problems during the lockdown and the state and central government have to help people deal with the issue. Watch the video to know more!
