Karnataka started with a high number of COVID-19 cases in comparison to the recovery rate. As the graph narrows down in terms of the recovery rate, the active number of COVID-19 cases has come down. As lockdown was imposed Karnataka has maintained strict institutional quarantine policies. Karnataka has noticed an increase in the recovery rate from the active number of cases. Karnataka model is designed in a way to keep the rate of Coronavirus at pace while maintaining the lockdown and unlock 1.0 polices and strict quarantine measures.
