An 82-year-old COVID-19 patient who went missing from a hospital ward in Jalgaon district was found dead in the hospital. The woman has tested positive on the 27th of May and was shifted to a nearby government hospital; from 2nd of June she was untraceable, it was later when the staff smelled a foul smell from the toilet; they broke opened the door only to find the elderly’s dead body inside. The District Collector has now blamed the hospital for negligence.
