2:31Now PlayingAmid rising cases and crumbling health infrastructure in Mumbai, the city will see 500 more ICU beds by the end of June. The local Civic Body said that it will add more 300 beds in the next ten days and more 200 will be added by the 30th of June. Mumbai’s current ICU bed capacity stands at 1,164 out of which 99% are occupied. The COVID-19 cases in Mumbai have surged immensely in the last few weeks taking the total above 50000, to cope up with bed capacity crisis the State government has announced sort of relief by enhancing the infrastructure and increasing the ICU beds.
