As many countries continue to stay affected by the COVID-19 pandemic and are still under lockdown, it will be very tough for them to travel across the nation. He states that the ICC will work out options, however, he doesn't see teams from 16 nations traveling to Australia. The tournament is scheduled to take place on October 18th - November 15th in Australia.
Karishma Singh from Times Network states " Today morning the Australia CEO resigned from his position and the Nick Hockey was appointed as the interim President. A question was posed to him in a press conference where he was asked whether Australia will be able to conduct the T20 World Cup or not?"
