The State Chief Secretary has admitted the misreporting and inaccuracy of the mortality data. Many deaths are showed due to comorbidity and not Coronavirus, however, a major exercise of reconciliation of data is been conducted and the transparent result could be out in the next two days. The data given by district collectors is also been consolidated.
‘This is very unfortunate. It is callousness on the part of the Government’, says BJP leader Ram Kadam; whereas, Nawab Malik from NCP questions the forge saying, ‘The entire machinery is working as per the ICMR guidelines. Why would any Government put out faulty data?
