4:57Now PlayingAfter admitting the COVID mismatch in the death toll data. Maharashtra government has now revised its figures. Upon revision, Mumbai death toll has risen by 862 while Maharashtra death toll figures are up by 466.
With this revision, the total number of deaths in the state now stands at 5,510. The government has also said that it will order a probe against the officials if found that they wilfully tried to hide any COVID deaths in the state.
Additionally, the state government has also made it very clear that the death of anyone testes positive for COVID will be classified as COVID-19 fatality. Watch!
