2:41Now PlayingIn view of the rising COVID-19 cases in the National Capital, the Delhi Government has now decided to levy stricter fees for all those who are found violating the lockdown norms. The State government has also allowed for the Sub – inspectors or above ranks to charge 500-100 rupees as a fine for violations such as breaking quarantine rules, not maintaining social distancing, not wearing masks, or spitting in public places.
Delhi has almost 30000 COVID-19 cases and a fatality count of over 2000. There were hints of community transmission in the state but the Central government, however, denied it.
