1:11Now PlayingThe cases of COVID-19 in the country don't seem to reach its peak and the cases have been rising exponentially. The major pattern seen in the same is the growing number of cases in metropolitan cities like Delhi, Mumbai, and Chennai. These three cities account for almost 40% of the cases registered in the past 24 hours, with Delhi being the worst affected. Around 18,000 cases were registered in the city in the past one day. Mumbai and Chennai have shown an increase of 6,000 and 4,000 in one day. The figures are alarming. Importantly cities such as Hyderabad and Bengaluru have also shown a spike in the cases.
