He has also gone on to say that more care will be exercised in the coming days to ensure that men and women are quarantined separately. As per the norms, *men and women must be quarantined separately unless they're a part of the same family.* This incident had shocked the entire city and several women had started to fear for their safety at the government quarantine centres.
Two women were molested at a government institutional quarantine centre in Bengaluru on Friday morning. The two women along with many others had arrived from Mumbai by train on Friday morning and were taken to the institutional quarantine center. Nearly 50 men were quarantined with just 8 women in the same facility. What's worse is that the men and women were using a common toilet. Minutes after the incident, the cops arrested the man.
