The policeman had accompanied one of his relatives, who had been visiting the bank for quite some days regarding entry in his passbook. The bank employee & the policeman got into an argument, which led to this assault.
Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman tweeted against this assault and expressing her grief and concern saying, ‘Safety of bank staffer is important and nothing should threaten their safety’.
