15:23Now PlayingA horrific custodial death has been reported in the Thoothukudi in Tamil Nadu. There have been 3 days of protest regarding the father and son duo who died when in police custody. The Madras High Court has come down heavily on the state police. In the hearing today, there has called there multiple instances of police attacking people in the state as the pandemic. Jayaraj, who was a trader in Thoothukudi was picked up by the police on the 19th June for having violated the lockdown norms by keeping his shop open. Later his son went to the police looking for him but did not return.
