4:59Now PlayingMassive surveillance has been launched by the Government in two of the worst-hit COVID-19 cities of India. This survey will be conducted in Delhi and Mumbai to check the spread of Coronavirus, on what extent the virus is spreading, what stage of transmission we are at and more.
The Sero survey will include testing of blood serum through which the government can: identify whether is the person is infected or not, monitor COVID-19 trends, if there are antibodies produced in the body, check whether there is a community transmission, etc.
Almost 20000 people in Delhi and 10000 people in Mumbai will be tested in this Sero Survey.
