Constable Muthuraj was arrested on Friday. With his arrest, the total number of arrests has gone up to 5.
An inspector, 2 sub-inspectors, and other constables have been arrested and were directly sent to the judicial custody. However, Muthuraj, the constable was trying to escape from the officials. Yesterday, almost 60kms from his native place his vehicle was identified at a place called Pusa. CPC claims that Muthuraj was immediately arrested and put in front of the judicial magistrate.
