as posted by the channelAnother incident of police brutality has been reported in Tamil Nadu, after allegedly getting beaten up by the police, a man set himself ablaze and has killed himself. The man was a painter and was asked to vacate the home by cops.
It is reported that the painter was not able to pay the rent for three months due to a nationwide lockdown in the country. The cops asked the painter to vacate and started thrashing him.
The police inspector has been suspended for the same. When being asked upon, the painter states that the inspector hit him and the house owner brought him.
It is also reported that Puzhal Inspector Bensam was suspended for harassing a woman. He is a repeat offender.
