as posted by the channelThe Chief Minister of Karnataka, BS Yediyurappa tweeted saying that he has tested positive for Coronavirus. He stated that his health has been in a moderate condition but he has been hospitalized as a precaution on the recommendation of the doctors. He further stated that people who have been in contact with him should be observant and exercise self-quarantine.
He informed the public late at night. He has been admitted to Manipal Hospital. He is the second Chief Minister who has contracted the virus after the Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh Shivraj Singh Chauhan. The Home Minister Amit Shah also tested positive for the COVID-19 virus and tweeted about the same.
