as posted by the channelIntense rainfall has been witnessed in and around the Mumbai-Thane region. 230 millimetres of rainfall have been recorded in the city and as per the weather department, BMC has asked people to not leave their houses.
BMC has also advised the private offices to remain shut as there is heavy waterlogging in most parts of the city. IMD has also issued a red alert in the city for high tide.
Bus services are also diverted on at least 8 routes as waterlogging has been reported in multiple areas. No local trains are allowed on the western line. Indian Meteorological Department has red alerted the city. No train is allowed to run between CSMT and Kurla.
