IPS officer from Bihar had sent in a request before coming to Mumbai despite which he was put under quarantine. He had come to Mumbai to carry on investigations. This is raising doubts on Mumbai Police as to why they quarantined the team after 8 days.
IG Patna will write the letter to the BMC Chief. The Maharashtra DGP cannot be contacted and this is an attempt to stall the investigation.
