as posted by the channelA fire broke out in a hydro-electric power plant in Srisailam town of Andhra Pradesh. It is feared that 7 people have been trapped in the powerplant. Rescue operations are underway. The NDRF teams, fire brigades and fire tenders are trying to control the fire at the powerplant.
The fire broke out last night. Efforts are being made to recuse the seven people trapped inside. 10 people have been reduced so far and 6 have been hospitalised. The reason for the fire has yet not been ascertained. Kurnool district fire team has been deployed to control the fire. Rescue operations are on continuously.
