3:39Now PlayingNarcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has registered a case in connection with the chats related to the banned drugs, which were recovered from the mobile phone of Rhea Chakraborty, Sushant Singh Rajput’s girlfriend. The case was registered on Wednesday after Enforcement Directorate (ED) wrote to NCB, requesting them to begin the probe.
Following several rounds of meeting, the NCB decided that a case should be registered against Rhea Chakraborty. A case under section 20, 22, 27 and 29 of NDPS act has been registered.
A three member team, led by Deputy Director KPS Malhotra will be taking over the charge and heading to Mumbai in order to investigate. The team will question all the people involved and with whom Rhea had conversations about the drugs. Rhea along with others involved has been named in the FIR, which has been registered by NCB.
