3:04Now PlayingSushant Singh Rajput suicide case is now a multi agency probe. With Narcotics Control Bureau filing a case against Rhea Chakraborty for consumption of drugs, NCB has become the third central agency which is now probing various angles of this case.
It all started with Mumbai police filing an Accidental Death Report in this case, with Bihar police filing an FIR of abetment to suicide, ED filing a case of money laundering, CBI investigating criminal angle and now NCB looking into drug consumption allegations, this is a multi agency probe case.
This is quite unusual. On several occasions, at best two central agencies have worked together on a case, but this case, with a new angle unfolding every day is getting a new investigating agency one after the other.
