0:57Now PlayingBCCI has now issued a statement on the entire issue of players testing positive for Coronavirus ahead of the Indian Premier League in Dubai. They have stated that upon landing in the United Arab Emirates, all participants have followed a mandatory testing and quarantine program.
The BCCI further added that a total of 1,988 RTPCR COVID tests were carried between the dates August 22 and August 28. It is reported that 13 personnel have tested positive for Coronavirus of which two are players.
The BCCI goes on to say that all the affected personnel including the people who were in close contact as well as the asymptomatic patients have been isolated from other team members. The personnel is being monitored by the IPL medical team.
