IT sleuths attach property under construction allegedly for Sasikala to reside under Benami Act

3:17Now PlayingOn Wednesday, a notice was stuck on a 9 ground property by IT officials claiming that proceedings under Benami Transactions Act have been initiated and notices issued to Sri Hari Chandana Estates Private Limited, an alleged shell company.
As per IT sources, Provisional Attachment Order notices were stuck in 65 different properties allegedly purchased by Sasikala since 2003, worth 300 crores.
However, there is another factor especially over this property as this plush residence allegedly being constructed for Sasiakala to reside once she is released from prison is right opposite to former Tamil Nadu CM, Jayalalitha's Veda Nilayam at Poes Garden which Tamil Nadu government is striving to convert into a Memorial for her.
Sasikala was an active resident of Veda Nilayam and was even made AIADMK General Secretary before sent to Parapanna Agrahara.
IT'S move has also provided fodder to conspiracy theorists raising the question whether AIADMK is doing everything to keep Sasikala away from Poes Garden.
