3:05Now PlayingIndia-China standoff: A brigade commander level meeting was held to ensure the situation does not escalate on the ground along the Line of Actual Control (LAC). This was also done to ensure the communication lines between both sides remains open.
Talks between Lt. General Harinder Singh and Major General Ling Liu have been planned for early next week on Monday or Tuesday. Bids have been put out to simmering tensions in Ladakh. A statement has been issued on a 5 point consensus that both sides have agreed on. A series of meetings of the parliamentary defence panel will be held throughout next week.
