The report has been put forth by the National Centre for Disease Control which has raised several alarms.
The second wave of COVID peaked on 17th September in Delhi. Delhi govt has said that the situation is under control to a large extent. 10,000 COVID beds are unoccupied in Delhi. Problems relating to breathing and cold could increase ahead of winters. The testing capacity has to be increased. Reports have suggested that Delhi should arrange for inpatient admissions of an expected 20% surge.
