5:31Now PlayingHathras Gangrape Case: A 19-year-old Dalit girl was gang-raped by four upper caste men on 14 September in Hathras. The girl succumbed to her injuries in Delhi's Safdarjung hospital. She was left in a pathetic condition.
The victim's family has expressed apprehensions in their High Court visit on October 12 wherein the court has summoned top officials associated with the case to check the status of the case. The family has demanded a written assurance from the government regarding their safety.
Only 8 days left in the SIT probe as they have been given extension. Today the SIT is set to recreate the crime scene for investigation in the presence of the victim's family. The statement of nearly 40 villagers will be recorded in the case today.
