2:48Now PlayingCentral Bureau of Investigation has formally taken over the Hathras gang-rape case from the local police and has begun the probe in the matter as well. CBI has already taken over the material and documents pertaining to this case and has also questioned the victim's brother for about 3 hours.
CBI has also sent a summons to the victim's father and brothers and has already recreated the crime scene. Both the mother and the brother of the victim were also called during the recreation of the crime scene, as both were the main witnesses in this case. Their statements were also recorded at the crime scene as well. CBI team, however, found discrepancies in the statements and therefore took victim's brother to the guest house for questioning.
