IMD had predicted above-average rainfall for Northern parts of Tamilnadu and below-average rainfall for Southern parts.
Greater Chennai Corporation back in September stated that water stagnation has been taken care of due to several years of efforts but with the water that's seen on several arterial roads, questions are now being raised over the work that was done.
