While not desilting the stormwater drains have been a common allegation, this time around the BBMP's road infrastructure chief engineer has a different story to tell. Prahlad, who the chief engineer for Road Infrastructure, BBMP has that the civic body is now faced with a new challenge and that the quantum and the intensity of the rain for causing floods. In the interview with our correspondent Sreeja, he goes on to say how the Rs 1000 crore project that was sanctioned in the month of May during the lockdown for remodeling and development of stormwater drains is still underway.
