22:54Now PlayingOn The Urban Debate today, Afreeda Rehman brings the updates on the ongoing Bihar assembly elections as the second phase of the three-stage Bihar polling is all set to begin. The stakes are very high this time with voting in 94 constituencies across 17 districts and is likely to decide electoral fate of JD(U)-led NDA and RJD-led UPA.
For phase one on 28 October, 71 constituencies in 16 districts were covered. The Congress has put up candidates in 24 constituencies while the three Left parties are contesting for 14 seats. Around 7.29 crore people are set to cast their votes in the state with nearly 78 lakh first-time voters.
