Warne referred to Cheteshwar Pujara's nickname 'Steve' which he got during his stint with Yorkshire. Pujara had earlier revealed that he got the nickname as players couldn't pronounce his real name. However, it has recently come to light that Steve has a racist overtone. Yorkshire ex-staff member revealed that the name ‘Steve’ is used for players of colour and referred to cab drivers and restaurants workers for Asians. A racism case against country cricket club was registered by Azeem Rafiq.
