As per the latest updates, farm union under the FCRA are lensing for foreign funds.
If these are the kinds of steps being taken while the government claims, it is on the side of the farmers, is it going to help in confidence-building?
Political Analyst Prof. Sangit Kumar Ragi says that ‘The beneficiaries of MSP are rich farmers of Punjab & Haryana’, while BJP Sudesh Verma says that ‘We are not against farmers, we are talking to them. But if somebody is violating the FCRA, it needs an explanation. It is in the interest of the farmers that these people be nabbed & punished’.
