Harsh Vardhan stated that he would like to inform the country that the Centre is confident about their preparations. The vaccination drive will be kickstarted at 3,006 places across India and close to 100 beneficiaries will be given the vaccine's first shot in all areas. Dr. Harsh Vardhan also reiterates that the frontline workers and health care workers will be given priority in the first phase of the vaccination drive. Along with the frontline workers, senior citizens will also be given priority, states Dr. Harsh Vardhan.
